Sonia holds a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (with honors) in Political Science, Law, and Society from York University.

Before joining Matkowsky Immigration, Sonia practiced immigration law at two of the largest immigration law firms in Canada: Green and Spiegel and KPMG Law. Sonia has assisted individuals and Fortune 500 companies with their immigration matters.
