Lawyer DUMONT Alexis

Alexis Dumont joined the Nexus team in July 2021 as a Bar intern, supervised by his mentor, Me Fanny Cumplido. After initially studying administration in France and then in Quebec, he ultimately decided to pursue law in order to help individuals wishing to settle in Canada.

Since January 2022, he has been working as a lawyer at Nexus, focusing on all types of immigration cases (economic, family reunification, asylum applications, etc.).

During his academic career, he had the opportunity to volunteer for the Clinique Juridique Itinérante, a nonprofit organization that works with the homeless population. He also became involved during his last academic semester in a case with Projet Innocence Québec.

In addition to his law degree, Me Alexis Dumont holds a certificate in Immigration and Interethnic Relations from the University of Quebec in Montreal.
